This great seven pose set was announced for forthcoming release in the May 1970 Airfix Magazine. It appeared in the 1970 (seventh edition) catalogue. The figures were always moulded in olive green and, again, early sets could be a bit brittle.

Seven poses for this set in the first photo followed by a full set with mould numbers 1 to 29, then a full compliment of mould tabs on the baseless figures, different base shapes and then the two different officer mouldings.  Although you wouldn't notice without close inspection, the officer figure from this set has a smaller brother (left), with the original moulding having the mould number on the figure's water bottle - "16". The later figure doesn't have the number on the bottle. It is also slightly smaller and has a different shaped base.  The last two photos are of the 2009 re-release and showing the two different sized officers again.
