This set was first noted in an Airfix advertisement in the August 1973 magazine. Containing seven poses, the Australians were always moulded in olive green. The officer figure in this set was great - a rugged looking guy with a pistol and a huge machette!

First figure picture is the seven poses available with this set. As yet, I have never seen an alternative officer for this set. Every one I have seen has had the number eleven on the base and all the bases have been exactly the same shape. Next is a full set with mould numbers 1 to 29 and finally we have the illustration for the Australian Infantry set in the 1972 Airfix Catalogue.
2010 re-release in a darker shade of green.
